About the Artist

Tarek yamout was born in Lebanon in 1945, he is married and has three children, his formal education was in the field of electricity generation and computer programming from which he graduated in 1966 and 1969, (Beirut) and 1972 (London), but his love for art made him study decoration and he received a degree in decoration for both design and execution.

On the practical side, he worked as instructor/trainer in the electrical field for 18 years, he worked for the Lebanese government as a decorator for 12 years.

He takes pride in being one of the pioneers in the field of nail and yarn art which he studied and developed for 35 years in his free time. His interest in art accumulated the equivalent of 30 years experience in its different fields such as engraving and gold plating on wood.

He made ninety portraits for world renowned personalities and gave several interviews to television and magazines on his artistic work.

The artist’s portraits are considered rare and unique owing to the field that no experienced artists exist to match his work especially portraits.

Every one of the artist’s portraits is a master piece which hard to imitate.
